AI clarity for executives — grounded in 40+ years of real leadership
AI Strategic Performance Council was founded on a simple conviction: executives making high-consequence AI decisions deserve guidance from someone who has actually led organizations through transformation — not theory, not vendor agendas, not hype.
Sylvain Rollin — Founder & Principal
Based in Mississauga, Ontario. Serving organizations across Canada and the United States.
Sylvain Rollin's career spans more than four decades at the intersection of technology, leadership, and business execution — from exceptional enterprise programmer to CTO of a billion-dollar organization to President & CEO and successful exit. That arc is not a resume detail. It is the foundation of everything AI-SPC does.
Few AI advisors have actually built and run the kinds of organizations they advise. Sylvain has — and that difference is visible in every client engagement.
Enterprise programmer & technology leader
A career that began in enterprise software development — including AS/400 RPG programming at the highest level — before progressing into senior technology leadership roles within large enterprise environments. This technical foundation gave Sylvain something most executives don't have: a genuine understanding of how technology actually works, not just how it's marketed.
CTO — $1B+ revenue organization
Before founding his own ventures, Sylvain served as CTO of a large Canadian organization with over $1 billion in annual revenue across four divisions. Leading technology strategy at that scale — across the entire enterprise — built the executive perspective that no classroom or consulting engagement can replicate: what it actually means to make high-consequence technology decisions with real organizational weight behind them.
CTO → President & CEO of ERMS
Sylvain built ERMS — a government-grade B2B SaaS emergency notification platform — from the ground up. He designed and built the application, constructed the contracts, and led sales, development, marketing, and design simultaneously. Clients included large enterprises, government agencies, and major financial institutions across Canada. When Sylvain recognized that the market was slowing and technology was shifting, he made the decision to exit — completing a multi-million dollar strategic transaction in 2018.
Founder & operator — Chef's Door Franchise Group
In parallel with technology leadership, Sylvain founded and scaled Chef's Door Franchise Group to 8 Ontario locations — demonstrating that his executive capabilities extend well beyond the technology sector into operations, franchise development, and multi-unit business management.
Founder — AI Strategic Performance Council
AI-SPC was founded to apply that accumulated executive depth — technology leadership at enterprise scale, business building, strategic exits, and operational experience — to the most consequential business decision executives face today: how to navigate Artificial Intelligence with clarity, confidence, and measurable outcomes.
Executives are making high-consequence AI decisions without the right guidance
The AI advisory market is dominated by technology vendors with products to sell, large consulting firms with implementation fees to earn, and generalists without real operating experience. None of them are sitting across the table from a CEO who has built, run, and exited real businesses — and who has no technology to sell and no implementation revenue to chase.
That is the gap AI-SPC was founded to fill.
AI should serve business strategy — not the other way around
Every AI-SPC engagement starts with your business — your priorities, pressures, and objectives. Technology is evaluated in service of those goals, not imposed upon them. This is not a philosophical preference. It is what 40+ years of executive experience teaches you.
Business leadership perspective — not technical theory
Every recommendation is evaluated through the lens of business impact, risk, and executive decision-making — not technical capability alone.
Vendor-neutral — always
AI-SPC has no technology products to sell and no implementation fees to earn. Our only interest is your organization's measurable outcomes.
Practical and actionable
Clarity over complexity. Every engagement produces direction your leadership team can act on — not a theoretical framework to file away.
Executive-to-executive
You work directly with Sylvain — not a junior consultant. The experience that built AI-SPC's reputation is the experience present in every conversation.
From uncertainty to confident execution — in three stages
AI-SPC's methodology is designed to reduce uncertainty while accelerating confident decision-making. Organizations typically engage at the stage that matches their current situation.

Understand your business priorities and identify where AI creates meaningful value — before any commitments are made.
